You most likely were turned down for that checking account because of your Chex Systems report and not bad credit. Some people get this confused. To learn more about the Chex Systems and to locate more second chance checking accounts in Alabama that was researched by InfoAviator then see

You can probably open a account at Mutual Saving Credit Union at the following locations:
199 Bessemer Super Highway Birmingham, AL 35228
2040 Valleydale Road Birmingham, AL 35244
3596 Pelham Parkway Pelham, AL 35124
136D Calera Marketplace Circle (down from Publix) Calera, AL 35040
907 Medical Center Parkway Selma, AL 36701
1501 7th Street South Clanton, AL 35046
1030 Lee Street Alexander City, AL 35010
They offer a second chance checking program but you must have a $100.00 opening deposit anp pay the $16.95 monthly service fee.
