Arizona Non Chexsystems Banks Offering Checking Accounts

For those seeking to find a checking account with a bank that is non chexsystems in Arizona, then you may have a hard time. However, dont be discouraged because there are banks and credit unions that offer both second chance and fresh start checking programs for those with a bad history with the chexsystems. See my answers below for a list of these banks and please provide a answer of any banks or credit unions in Arizona not yet listed.

If your unable to open a checking account because of a terrible chexsystems report, TFCU, is willing to give you that second chance with the benefits of a regular chhecking account regardless of your past credit issues. These 2nd chance accounts for Arizona residents have no minimum balance requirements, Online banking with bill pay at no charge, Online statements that are free, there is no charge to get a Visa Instachek Debit Card, and direct deposit is available.
Once a checking account holder has 12 months of successfull account maintenance with their Arizona second chance checking account, they will be upgraded automatically to a regular checking along with a possibility of recieving a $500 Visa Platinum credit card at TFCU. 
To qualify for this program the applicant must be at least 18 years of age and
no past history of committing fraud or balances owing on their ChexSystems report.

First American Credit Union with branchs located in Arizona offers second chance checking accounts
that will allow you to repair your checking history. The account has no minimum balance requirement, and 50 dollars to open the account. There is free Online Banking with Bill Pay, plus free mobile and text banking,  a free debit card that can be used at Atms nationwide, and they have free e-statements.
There is a $10 monthly service charge, $50 minimum balance to open the account and a $5 monthly fee to receive statements by mail.

offers second chance checking accounts to Arizona residents for those that hahave a record on Chex Systems due to an NSF activity or unpaid closure.

They will want the applicant to complete a online course called CheckRight (a personal finance course) through their partnership with GreenPath Debt Solutions. Once completed they will open you a checking account with access to debit card. 
Their is a monthly maintenance fee of $10.00 if your account is in good standing for twelve months. them they will convert the account to a regular checking.
